Al 'n Steph

Al 'n' Steph invite you to join them in an eclectic session of traditional, and modern folk songs. Songs of the Sea, of rebellion, love and humour. Bring a voice, an instrument and join in, or just come and enjoy.
Bernie KilBride & Tad Sargant

Bernard KilBride has played traditional fiddle for much of his life, fostered by his parents, Gill and Jenny Kilbride. One of three brothers playing traditional music in South Wales. Spanning almost 30 years, a key part of the Welsh folk group Yr Hwntws, Bernard has travelled throughout Wales and Europe and appeared on TV. He played on their albums: Gwentian and Y Tribanwr. Other bands Bernard has played/recorded with include: Mabsant, the KilBride Brothers, Taran, Aberjaber, Cara, The Rowdy Dow. He continues to front Juice Ceilidh band, and Burn the Fiddle. Tad was born in London, his family originally being from Mayo. He started playing Irish music in sessions hosted by London legends such as Mick O'Connor, Paddy Gallagher, Paul Gallagher. Starting on bodhran, he went on to play bouzouki/guitar and can be heard on a good handful of notable albums such as Brian McNeill, Crossharbour, Matt Tighe, Barrule, Tony Christie, Cara. Live he has played with Luke Daniels, The Kelly Family, Talisk, Ranagri, The Long Notes, and Cara Dillon. He was also the resident bodhran and guitar teacher at the Irish Cultural Centre for 10 years.
Fergal O'Brien

Fergal O'Brien is a renowned musician from Portglenone, Co Antrim, with achievements including All Ireland titles and performances worldwide. He's an accomplished bodhrán teacher with the Traditional Arts Partnership, South Armagh and Warrenpoint CCE. Fergal has coordinated bodhrán group contributions to various projects including 'Titanic Drums', 'Anamchairde' and 'Green Space, Dark Skies'. He has authored multiple versions of the world's first graded bodhrán tutor and contributed to several music-related publications and CD’s.
Kenny Qua

Kenny, from County Armagh, is an established musician and teacher of traditional music. He leads weekly classes at the internationally renowned Armagh Pipers’ Club and several of the local Comhaltas. Since 2010 he has performed at festivals throughout Ireland, in the USA, Europe and China with various projects: Stone Wall Music, Qua Family Band and the Traditional Arts Partnership. As a session musician on flute, guitar and whistle, he has contributed to many professional recordings.
Mike Chant

Mike Chant, St David's born Singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and true grass-roots troubadour has been creating and performing music for over 40 years. Always from the heart Mike has written and recorded six albums plus a huge repertoire of covers. Mike also has a passion for creating opportunities for musicians by way of his open mic sessions which he has been running for over a decade. For him music is about expression, honesty, sharing and fun.
Mike Greenwood

Mike Greenwood has been playing D/G melodeon for over 30 years, specialising in the dance music of Wales and England. He is also a skilled exponent of the English Concertina. Welsh dance music tends to be at the heart of any session, although you can also expect a heavy blast from English, French, and Scandinavian Melodies.
Terry Conlon

Terry started his trad music journey 40 years ago with the local Comhaltas. He is a highly accomplished piano accordion player, with a love of song and storytelling. He has featured on TV with Isla St Claire, Ralph McTell and The Sands Family and has toured Ireland, Europe and US. He set up a venue at his farm, “The Pig Gig ” hosting singing sessions with artists such as The Mary Wallopers, Tempest and Kevin Conneff from the Chieftains attending. He has produced an album called “A New Dawn”, with current band RAGLAN touring Europe in 2025.
