Fishguard Folk Festival takes place every year over the late May Bank Holiday. It is an almost entirely free event, with concerts, sessions, workshops, walks, and whatever further jollity we can think up. Four of the concerts are ticketed. For everything else, just turn up and enjoy it!

The Festival AGM will be held at 6pm on Tuesday June 22nd 2021 in the garden of The Royal Oak, Fishguard.

IMPORTANT: To all our festival friends and followers old and new

As you know, we took the decision to cancel the 2021 festival some weeks ago. At the same time, we said we hoped to organise some folk event(s) when the situation allowed. It is clear that things are slowly improving, though we would definitely not have been able to hold our usual festival on the late May Bank Holiday weekend. It will still be too early to hold any other events then, though we have had several enquiries from people hoping that we would be arranging something for the end of next month to coincide with our usual late spring time slot. Restrictions on numbers will still not allow this to happen. So please continue to watch this space and look forward to sharing folk music with us in Fishguard once more as soon as circumstances permit.

Keep safe in the meantime.

Jude Whitehouse, Chairman.
